We have enhanced technology to produce low molecular weight peptides. Peptides, short chains of amino acid monomers linked by peptide bonds, naturally occur in living organisms. Their use has gained significant attention in molecular biology for several key reasons. Peptides enable the generation of peptide antibodies in animals without purifying the target protein. In addition, they are highly effective in promoting regeneration, especially in challenging conditions such as trophic wounds or in patients with diabetes. Advanced techniques like mass spectrometry allow for the precise identification of proteins based on the mass and sequence of peptides resulting from protein fragmentation.v

A critical attribute of scaffolds in regenerative medicine is their biocompatibility, low immunogenicity, and inertness. These properties enable scaffolds to interact seamlessly with living tissues without inducing toxic or immunological reactions. To meet these requirements, scaffolds must be composed of chemically pure, inert materials that minimize the body’s immune response. Another essential characteristic for tissue engineering scaffolds is their resistance to biodegradation, at least in the early stages of cell seeding and proliferation. During cell growth and expansion, scaffold biodegradation can be undesirable, as it introduces an uncontrolled variable that may unpredictably influence cellular activity.

These interactions within the 3D architecture play a critical role in regulating various cellular functions, including proliferation, differentiation, morphology, gene and protein expression, as well as cellular responses to external stimuli.
Scaffolds possess a three-dimensional (3D) structure, which makes them highly effective as hemostatic agents. This structure allows for exceptional moisture absorption, up to 5000% of the product’s weight, and its porous design enhances its coagulant properties, promoting rapid blood clotting.
